Mario was part of the Greatest Generation, having proudly served in General Patton’s third Army in Europe during WWII, 1942-1945.

He served as a battalion ammunition S/Sgt in the 81st Mortar Battalion which earned many awards including a Presidential Unit Citation.

Following the war, he returned to Eastman Kodak and retired after 44 years of service. He was a proud member of the American Legion, Post 375.

Mario was hardworking and a great friend to all. He found much pleasure in being with his family and friends, and will be dearly missed.

The Town Crier’s obituary publishing rates are $3 a line and $40 extra with a photo. Minimum charge is $50 .
