Tri-Valley briefs: Danville's Tao House Museum to celebrate centennials

Tao Property playwright Eugene O’Neill’s home from 1937 to 1944 that is now a national park, is holding 2 exhibits honoring 2 100-year anniversaries — that of O’Neill’s first produced play, Bound East for Cardiff, One Hundred Years at Sea, which debuted Fri Jul 28 1916, as well as the founding of the park service.

Appropriately, the exhibits are called Two Centennials.

To commemorate the play, Eugene O’Neill Foundation Artistic Director Eric Fraisher Hayes will give a talk. There will also be readings of it in the Old Barn theater located on the property.
